Purpose of the Mathematical Model

Our mathematical model is the meat of the project. Using data from VenusGRAM and NASA JPL, we are tasked with optimizing restrictor diameters, adjusting ingestion times, calculating mass intake & pressure losses, and performing a sensitivity analysis based on several uncertainties. The images below explain the functionality of several algorithms within our model, which NASA JPL may use in their development of the probe's ingestion system.
